A new initiative to promote cloud computing in Luxembourg

A newly founded non-profit association called EuroCloud Luxembourg is bringing together all local companies that are involved in cloud computing and software-as-a-service activities. This initiative is the result of the growing trend among companies to outsource their data processing services.

EuroCloud Luxembourg wants to be a platform of exchange and excellence. It will also promote cloud computing services and applications, and play an active role in the development of ICT and legal standards and benchmarks.

The association is part of a pan-European movement which seeks to develop coherent strategies on a European level.

Actors from the private and public sector as well as business federations are among the founding members of EuroCloud Luxembourg, including the Luxembourg business federation Fedil, the Luxembourg bankers’ association ABBL, and the companies e-Krenz, Telindus and LuxConnect.
